Jesper Blok

I am a freelance camera operator, steadicam operator and photographer based in the Netherlands, working on television, commercials, documentaries and live productions.

With more than a decade of experience in broadcast television, I bring a mix of technical precision, calm on-set presence and a strong eye for movement and composition. I like work that is clean, efficient and visually strong.

After years of working inside large productions, I chose to continue as a freelancer so I could work more flexibly across different kinds of projects and collaborate directly with production teams, DOPs and directors.

What I do

My main focus is camera operating and steadicam work. I also offer a professional camera and gear rental setup for productions that need a complete solution on set.

Photography is part of my work as well, mainly for portraits, behind the scenes, editorial and supporting visual content.

My approach

I like to keep things simple on set: be prepared, stay focused and deliver reliable images. Whether I am operating steadicam, running camera or working with my own gear, my goal is always the same: help the production move smoothly and make the final image better.
